Coloured pencils are highly recommended with our tiny colouring and activity books, as they allow for a greater amount of control. The colours with coloured pencils, can be as light or dark as the pressure applied while colouring. If you want a darker hue, just go over that section again, or apply greater pressure. For a lighter hue, just apply less pressure with one coat. While a marker's ink is incapable of offering dramatic variances in colour concentration.
 
Our paper weight is suitable for some water-based markers; however, we cannot guarantee that all brands (and sometimes just certain colours) will not bleed through a page (especially alcohol-based markers). Therefore, if you plan to use markers and your tabletops are not easily washable, we recommend placing a sheet of paper, cardstock, or another protective material beneath each tiny colouring page to protect your tabletops.
